Last Saturday the kids and I attended a Prince and Princess Ball put on by one of the local Churches in town. This activity was SO fun! I am so glad we went. The kids got to dress up fancy. They were announced as they came in and had their photos professionally taken. Then they were escorted to their seats where they colored while others were seated. They then were given a super cute lesson on manners and etiquette by the Frog Prince. They were given these super cute placemats to help them learn how to set a table. They were served some yummy snacks as well as some cake! They also had crafts (making wands and crowns) and games (find the pea under the pillow and fighting the dragon). This event was so well planed, we had a great time!

My Christmas Present....Finally!
Here are some photos of my beautiful Christmas present! I have loved this painting for so long, but could never find it large. I also wanted a large painting to go above our fireplace. So, my sweet husband put two and two together and ordered this for me for Christmas. Unfortunately, it took a while to get to us, but we are so happy to have it now!! Thank you Michael, I absolutely love it!

Big Helper
I just wanted to do a quick post about how helpful Alyna is. She is such a an awesome helper to Mommy and a great big sister! I find her countless times a day doing little things to help out. I love how kind she is! She is definitely a great example to me of service and love.

Saturday Zoo Trip
Today was kind of one of those days. We had to go to a girl scout luncheon so that Alyna could perform a song/skit with her troop. The luncheon was at a church about a block away from our house, so I figured we would just walk. We normally walk out the back door, but because we were already kind of playing in the front, enjoying the sun, we just left out the front door. We went on and had a great time performing (it was really cute and I wish I had photos, but I don't because I was actually helping them sing, so yeah sorry about that). Anyhow, as we were walking back I got to thinking about the face that I had no keys with me. I figured Michael had locked the back door when he left early in the morning for a work seminar in Stillwater and since I had not left out the back door, it was most likely still locked. And then I remembered that I had shut the door closed in the front as I was leaving...ummmm locked and closed. So, I went and checked the doors and sure enough they were all locked. As I said, Michael was in Stillwater (over an hour away for those of you who do not know Oklahoma geography). So, I dragged all of our kids over to our neighbors, Lorrie and Jessica's, home. Thank goodness Jessica was home as I did not have a plan B (I had also left my phone in the house, thinking I would not need it ha!). So, I called my mom who has a spare, but she was also in Stillwater. I called another person who has a spare and they didn't awnser. I was beginning to wonder if we were going to go anywhere. Finally, Jessica was able to go get a key from my sister so that I could get in! By then I was 40 minutes late for my appointment to pick up my bulk food storage order. So, we hightailed it down there, picked it up (luckily the guy was still there!) and then we finally got on our way to the zoo!! We had a great time at the zoo, it was such an amazingly beautiful day! The kids were in long sleeves and perfectly comfortable. Here are some photos from the day (I know there are a ton, but I took a lot and I don't like the process of narrowing them down)...

Playing outside!
Here are some photos of Lucas I got while we were enjoying the beautiful sun today. We were so happy to have such a wonderful day today!
Valentine's Party
Today we got to attend a really fun Valentines party hosted by some ladies from Church. The kids had such a fun time! They made these cute Valentines bags, got Valentines of course, ate lots of yummy food, and went on a candy hunt. They had a great time. Here are some photos of the event along with some pictures of the homemade Valentines we made for them to hand out. Alyna's are little chalkboards, they are really fun.
