New Years Party

This year we had a Kids New Years Party at our house. My sister Karly and cousin Kori helped us out and we had a lot of fun. We had a movie room, play room, art/game room, a coloring area, a dance room, and lots of fun party favors! The kids partied hard and had a blast!

Happy New Year everyone. We wish you a wonderful 2010!!!

Gregg Christmas

A couple of days after Christmas we headed up to Lucien, Oklahoma to spend Christmas with my Mom's side of the family. We had a great time eating, doing presents, and playing games with these guys!

Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas day this year. We spent the morning doing our family Christmas and then went to my Mom's in the afternoon to celebrate with them. We did lots of gift opening, snow playing, sledding, and just having fun! Here are some photos from the day...

Christmas Eve

Despite being snowed in (and having our Christmas ham snowed in at my Mom's house, note to self pick up ham earlier next year haha), we had a great Christmas Eve spending time as a family. We had a wonderful dinner, opened our Christmas pajamas, and read the Christmas story from Luke together. We then had some cookies and apple cider before going to bed. Michael and I had to stay up quite late getting all of the wrapping finished up. Here are some photos...

Hiding under the table eating their cookies, not sure why haha!

Oklahoma Blizzard!

When I heard that we "might" have snow for Christmas, I was so excited!!! I have seen very few white Christmases here in Oklahoma and I looked forward to seeing some snow! However, 14 inches!!!! was not what I had in mind. Here are some photos I took of the blizzard...

Things I Made

Here are some photos of some things I made this Christmas. I still have one quilt in my craft room that is almost finished (I will post photos when I get it finished), but here are most of the things I made for gifts this year. I did not make as much this year as I like to, but it was a bit much with the moving and all.

First off here is my cute boy (which I guess technically I "made" haha), but he absolutely LOVES to sit right in the middle of my cutting mat. It makes it really hard to cut fabric, but oh those eyes are too cute, there is no way to be mad at him...

Here are the pajamas I made all of the kids. I found this adorable LDS flannel fabric and decided it would be perfect for some comfy PJs! Now I did make a pretty big mistake on these, lets see who can figure it out first on the blog!

A sign for my Mom's house...

A fun matching game for Alyna. These are so easy and cheap to do!

A quilt and bulletin board for my Sister's room...

Christmas Cantata

The week before Christmas we were able to attend a Christmas Cantata at one of the Church buildings in Edmond. It was so incredibly good! We were totally impressed and so enjoyed the beautiful music. There is really nothing better to get me into the Spirit of Christmas then some beautiful hymns celebrating the birth of our Savior. Here is a photo of Alyna and my sister Randi Kay, who also attended with us, all dressed up and ready to go!
