Well, thanks to my fabulous friend Sam (who I stole all of these ideas from!), we had a fun time last night watching for the lunar eclipse. First, I sat down with Lyna earlier in the day and talked about eclipses and why they happen and what causes them. Then, we had "moon" pizza for dinner...
And then some hot chocolate while we sat outside and watched for the eclipse...
Unfortunately, this is about all we saw...
Yep, just pretty much a lot of black. It was VERY cloudy out last night, so not the best night for moon watching, but we had fun anyway!

lol... you totally made homemade pizza and hot chocolate, I just 'cheated' with frozen ones - but I am glad you guys had fun watching the... cloudy sky... too ;o)
Edelweiss would be SO EXCITED that Lyna got to learn about the lunar eclipse stuff too!
