Happy 4th Birthday Alyna!

I really cannot believe she is already 4 years old, the time has flown by! She has been such a wonderful child, easy and always a ton of fun. I was so lucky to have such an easy first baby. She is now my little helper, always getting things for Noah. She is such a great big sister. In honor of her 4th birthday, here are some photos of the last 4 years!

Here I am the night before my sweetie decided to make her very unexpected entrance into the world. Born at 37 weeks and under less then ideal circumstances, she was a trooper through it all.

And here she is on her birth day. She weighed in at 4.14 and 18 inches long. She was a tiny thing. She dropped down to closer to 4 lbs. even before we left the hospital. I was so scared to take that tiny thing home, she seemed so breakable, luckily we did fine.

Here she is on her 1st birthday!

2nd Birthday!

3rd Birthday!

And last, but not least , here she is opening her birthday presents this year!

Happy Birthday my sweet girl!!

Sandia Peak Tramway

One of the coolest things we have gotten to do since we have been here in ABQ is to go up on the Sandia Peak Tramway. It takes you up 2 miles (I think) to the top of Sandia Peak, I believe it is the longest tramway in the world. It was so neat! We went at sunset time, so it was hard to get any good photos, but here are a couple.

Cleaning Up on Moving Day

Well Hello Again!

Sorry it has taken me so long to post! We have been incredibly busy starting our new business in New Mexico. All is well in Albuquerque, we love it here, so beautiful! It is really nice to have some mountains close by again, can't wait for ski season! The weather is gorgeous, it was so nice to move somewhere nearly 10-15 degrees cooler then Texas, oh man that Texas heat is so hot! The kids are adjusting well. I start homeschooling Alyna again next Monday, so I have been busy getting lessons together for that. She is so excited and has asked me everyday when we are starting again. I will probably be posting my lesson plans on my school blog if anyone is interested. Noah is growing like a weed. He is so fun right now! He is saying a lot more words and is pretty good at keeping up with big sister. I have lots of photos to post, including ones of Lyna's birthday, so I will try to get those going today!

Albuquerque Temple

Before finally heading home, we stopped at the Albuquerque Temple. What a beautiful Temple! And it's a good thing we like that Temple because in about a week it will be our "home" Temple...

Noah's First ER Visit

We had Noah's first big boo-boo recently. On our trip back from Colorado, we decided to stop in Albuquerque. We had just got to the hotel and the kids were playing and I heard a horrible scream. I ran in and there was blood everywhere. Alyna had slammed the bathroom door (to stop Noah from getting in the toilet) and apparently his finger was in the hinge part. The door severed the end of his finger, it was horrible. We rushed to the ER and they sewed it back on, but weren't sure if it would survive. Luckily, the finger looks great now. He got his stitches out that other day and the doctor said it looks better then he has ever seen a finger amputation look, so thats good news!

Trip to Colorado

We went to Colorado for three weeks and had so much fun! What a beautiful state! We did lots and lots of stuff, but I didn't bring my camera with me as much as I should. Here are some pictures of some fun things we did!

First, here are some photos of Tiny Town. This place was SOOOO cute! The kids really loved it, especially the train.

Here are a few photos of us camping. Unfortunately, we didn't get to camp as much as we planned because of weather, but it was still fun!

Here are some photos of the Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster. This was so neat. They had tons of butterflies plus some bugs and underwater creatures too.
