Happy 5th Birthday Alyna!

Well, she is officially 5!!! years old! I cannot believe it, it just does not seem like it has been that long since that glorious day that I first held her little 4 lb. self and fell in love. But, she has grown up into such an awesome wonderful little girl. I could not ask for a better daughter. She is the best big sister to her brothers, such a mommy's helper. Here are some photos of her from 4 to birth (yeah I know the effect would be better the other way, but I can't figure how to move the darn things)!

And now on to the big birthday party. We decided that this year would be her first big "friend" birthday party. She invited 8!! little girls over and we had a blast. We had a mermaid theme and because Ohio weather really wanted to cooperate with our theme, it decided to flood us out that day so we would really be underwater :-(. So, what was supposed to be a swimming, sprinklers, etc. turned into an indoor crafty party. But, we still had a blast...here are some photos...

4th of July

Noah in Jiu-Jitsu

So we enrolled Noah in Jiu-Jitsu class recently. The first class was interesting, he spent most of the class doing this...

but luckily he warmed up to it and is now a seasoned pro and is really enjoying it!

(And seriously how stinkin' cute is that outfit???)

Bike riding fun!

Well, the secret is out...Noah is short. And not just kind of short, really short! Poor guy seems to have taken after Mommy in the worst way. This shortness makes some things difficult, mostly things like buying pants and reaching counters, but something else proved incredibly difficult...buying a bike! He had been riding this little ride on toy, which was fun, but he really wanted a bike like Lyna's. I had looked around a little, but they were all so big. Finally, one day I was at the nearly new childrens store here in town and I spotted a bicycle. I wasn't for sure if it would fit him and luckily the worker let us try it on him and sure enough he has a bike! He was so excited and has used it all summer long!

Happy Birthday Michael!

Michael turned 30!! in May! We didn't do much for his big 3-0, but he did go get some waterguns so he and the kids could have a fun waterfight. Do you see the dinky guns the kids got?? Needless to say, he won. His sister Jessica was also less then happy about him turning his spraying toward her once he had soaked all the children!

Some more photos...

from our trip to Georgia. This batch was stuck on my computer when it decided to break. Enjoy!
