Cow Appreciation Day

The other day was Cow Appreciation Day at our local Chick-Fil-A. If you dressed up like a cow, you got a free meal! I thought it would be fun for the kids, so we worked hard the day before making our own costumes. Daddy was not super excited to dress up at first, but the kids really wanted him too and he was a good sport about it. We had such a fun time. Thanks CFA Yukon!

Happy 4th of July!

The 3rd of July

On July 3rd we went up to my Aunt Jay' house in Pond Creek. It was the rainiest 4th of July weekend I have ever seen, but we still had a great time. The kids did a lot of playing in the puddles.

Alyna's Dance Recital

Also in June, Alyna had he dance recital. She did such a good job in both a tap number and a ballet number. Here is a photo of her with her flowers afterward in her tap costume. I will post more photos of her in her ballet when we get them.

Tractor Rides With Grandpa

Noah loves to ride on the tractor with Grandpa James. We came home one day to Grandpa sitting on the tractor patiently waiting for us while Noah slept peacefully in his arms. We thought it was pretty adorable.

Crossfit Southwet Regional

In June, we were able to go down and watch the Southwest Regional for the Crossfit Games (a competition for people who do the workout program Michael and I do). We had a lot of fun. They were very accommodating to children and had a fun trampoline and pit area open for them to play in, they loved it!

Another Violin Recital

Alyna had a second violin recital this spring. Again, she did great!

Here is the video:

Cute Church Kids

Here are some photos all dressed up for Church one day!

Alyna's First Violin Recital

Also in May, Alyna had her very first violin recital. She has been attending a weekly homeschool orchestra class to learn to play the violin. She had not been playing very long at all when they had their first recital, but she did great. Here are some photos from the event. This first one is with her violin teacher, Natasha. We have really loved her.

And I hope this works, here is a video of her performance.

Yukon Fesitval of the Child

In May, we were able to attend the local Festival of the Child. This event it SO fun! We have been a few times before and it never disappoints. There are so many fun activities for the kids to do!

2010 March of Dimes Trail Ride

Every year my aunt organizes and puts on a fundraiser for the March of Dimes. She and her family are avid horsemen and so they do a trail ride every year. This year the even was a great success. Despite some rain, everyone still had a wonderful time. Thanks Mendi for all of the work you do for this great cause!

Jocelyn's Wedding

Here are a few photos of the wedding itself, it was at the Bountiful Utah Temple. I wish I had taken more photos, but I was running around most of the time with Jocelyn's camera, so I don't have very many of my own. Alyna was able to be a flower girl and she was SO excited about it.

How stinkin' cute is this couple??

Jocie's Wedding Shower

While we enjoyed getting to spend time with my family in Utah, the real reason we were there was for Michael's family. Michael's awesome little sister Jocelyn was getting married to the sweetest guy named Chris. Here are some photos of a little shower we were able to do for her.

Easter Egg Hunt- Utah Style

Here are some picture of our Utah family Easter egg hunt. Yes, that white stuff on the ground is SNOW!! It snowed a ton while we were in Utah, it was so weird since it was 75 back at home. We had such a fun time hanging out with family.
