Library Backyard Concert

Our local library held a backyard concert the other night. It was the most beautiful weather ever, so we really enjoyed ourselves. The concert features a local band playing "Songs of America", it was very fun and the band was great (here is a link to their site, check them out!). The kids were so excited when we got there to see their good friends, the Farleys. The kids ran and played the entire time.

COSI with Cousins!

We did a trip to COSI this last Friday with Jessica and kids. It was so fun! COSI is such a great place for kids. It has the best enclosed play area ever. We have a membership and due to it being downtown and a bit of a drive for us we don't make it down near as much as I would like. Here are some photos...

Congratulations Jessica!

This week we were able to attend the pinning of my sister in law, Jessica. She has been working so hard to become a nurse and she is finally an RN! We are all so proud of her and were excited to be there for her big moment. Way to go Jess!

I realize this next photo is horrid (it's blurry, the lighting is off, etc. etc.), but I had to post it because it captures the essence of my sweet niece, Juliet, so well. This is total Juliet, so adorable and just so excited to be wherever she is at that moment.

And this is Jessica's dear friend Lisa, who did not know that when she agreed to come with the family to the graduation she was in fact signing up for babysitting duty. This sweet woman seriously watched my boys so much during the pinning so that I would be able to snap photos of Jess. Thanks so much Lisa!

And, of course, as we were leaving we had to get a shot with the mega-Christopher Columbus statue in the middle of campus. The kids thought it was awesome.

Again, CONGRATS JESS! We love you and are so proud of you!

Summer Playdate

This last week we were able to have some friends over for a playdate. These two girls are wonderful and we had so much fun. Sadly, they are moving away soon. We will miss this family a lot. Michael served his mission with these girls' daddy and they kind of seem to be following each other around ever since. We were so happy to find out they were in Columbus when we moved back. We are going to miss them, but we wish them luck and many blessings in their new journey!

Lucas James Malmfeldt's Baby Blessing

On Sunday, June 7th, we were able to bless our sweet son, Lucas. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful blessing. Afterwards, we were able to have a luncheon with friends and family. Thanks to all those who participated in Luke's special day.

Buffalo Babies

Grandma Kathryn recently took a trip to Yellowstone and was able to see lots of baby Buffalo. She didn't want to leave all of those cuties behind, so she brought these cuties home with her...

Aren't these little Buffalo hats adorable? The kids love them! Thanks Grandma Kathryn!!

Trip to Georgia

A couple of weeks ago we were able to go down to Georgia for Michael's sister Jocelyn's high school graduation. We had a great time visiting family and celebrating with Jocelyn. She is off to BYU this summer and we are so proud of her. Way to go Jocie!

And here is a photo of Jocelyn and her brother John performing a duet for the family. Jocelyn has a beautiful voice and John is a very talented musician.

While we were in Georgia, we were able to go hiking one day. I neglected to bring with me any good hiking shoes and this proved to be a pretty difficult hike, but the view was well worth it.
