Vermicomposting!

Okay I know it's a little weird, but humour me! We started our vermicompost today!!! we have wanted to compost for a while, but we really don't have the space to do a full compost pile, so we started a vermicompost. It's basically a small compost for food scraps. It is a great learning experience for Lyna, as she will be helping me tend to it and it's great for my upcoming spring garden. Anyway, here are some photos of our new compost!

I love hearing about people trying out vermicomposting! You are right - it is a great option when you want to deal with your household (organic waste) in a confined space.

Warning - it can be addictive!
Haha!

Anyway, best of luck!

P.S. I love your family philosophy - definitely words to live by!
